After a false start (moving company didn't show up) and an excruciating day of moving stuff ourselves, we're done. We left the apartment and NYC for our adventure.

Dont let the smile fool you, there was nothing fun about it. The best part was the downpour, who knew that the rain would be such a welcome thing. After this, "all was left to do "was to take it all out of the truck and into the storage place

Working 4th of July weekend ...

There were some things we needed or wanted to do to the RV before the big trip, we we decided to drive the car to the RV storage on Saturday morning (using this as an opportunity to give Marina driving practice, since it's only a week until her driving test), leave the car, pick up the rv and drive to a campground nearby to get some work done... This is Marina's first driving on the highway experience :)

First, Marina hated the black painted bathroom sink, so she decided to try her hand at plumbing :) Here are pictures of the prettiest plumber I know.

The the mirror frame needed refinishing, so here is the prettiest woodworker ever!

After the sanding was done, she applied a nice coat of lacquer and .... ta da...

Bathroom is done!

Then the roof needed some sealing. Where could I find a roofer?

Mmm, there we go!









After it was all done it was time to relax on the river trying out the new inflatable boat we got for the trip. Brought the fishing rods for good measure (we don't catch any

thing sadly).
